The Super Bowl MVP award is a bit different from the regular season NFL MVP. The regular season MVP essentially goes to the best quarterback, while the MVP of the Super Bowl has a better opportunity to be a different position. For example, Cooper Kupp won last season. So, who do the Super Bowl MVP odds 2023 favor?

Only half of the last four Super Bowl MVP awards were given to quarterbacks. However, the Super Bowl MVP odds 2023 certainly favor the passers in this Chiefs vs Eagles matchup. Keep reading for the Super Bowl MVP odds, then check out our other article for how to bet on Super Bowl 2023.

Jalen Hurts Super Bowl MVP Odds

After a shoulder injury likely cost him the regular season MVP award, Jalen Hurts’ Super Bowl MVP odds list him as the favorite to win the award (+120), per BetUS Sportsbook. Because of his dual-threat ability, we know the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense goes as Hurts goes. For this reason, it’s tough to imagine a player from Philadelphia winning Super Bowl MVP that is not named Jalen Hurts.

Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl MVP Odds

The Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl MVP odds make him the favorite from the Kansas City Chiefs (+125), but the second overall on the list. Winning the MVP would put him on an exclusive list of players that have won multiple Super Bowl MVP awards. Additionally, winning the award would likely mean he is both the regular season and Super Bowl MVP.

Travis Kelce Super Bowl MVP Odds

While the Travis Kelce Super Bowl MVP odds view him as a longshot for the award (+1200), he is third overall and the top non-quarterback on the list. Including the NFL Playoffs, Kelce has three games with multiple touchdowns this season, which would likely be what is needed for him to win. Of course, with Mahomes battling a bum ankle, there is a slight chance he doesn’t finish the game, leaving the door open for a Travis Kelce Super Bowl MVP this year.
