FlurrySports NFL Draft Hub A first round quarterback is a heavy decision for an NFL Franchise to make. You have the sure bets, like Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, and Matthew Stafford. Then, there are the first round quarterbacks that have some question marks. We’ve seen some succeed, like Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins, and we have seen some not pan out, like Blake Bortles, Johnny Manziel, Paxton Lynch and E.J. Manuel. In this year’s NFL Draft, it’s pretty clear the top guys are Kyler Murray and Dwayne Haskins. But what about the quarterbacks after the top two?…

Wow, what’s a first week of NFL action. You had the Cleveland Browns not losing (nor winning) a game for the first time since 2016. You had the debut of young rookies Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and we could be seeing Josh Rosen if Sam Bradford puts up another terrible performance. Let’s not forget we had 19 player with over 100 yards receiving, with Jared Cook at the top spot…who would have known? L Quarterback Start Alex Smith vs Indianapolis Colts The Colts let Andy Dalton have a good, not great opening day, giving up 17.52 fantasy…
Can you hear the choir singing? The sun shining? That’s right. The NFL season is amongst us and all I can say is FINALLY! It has been a long, dreadful offseason. If you had your fantasy football draft, hopefully you came to FlurrySports for fantasy advice because lets face it, if you did, then your commissioner might as well hand over the championship trophy. Start/Sit is a very important article for the guys who have fringe players who might be playing for various reasons: injury, suspension, etc. Let’s get your week 1 roster ready for domination. For any questions or…
Every year, an undervalued player comes out of nowhere to help carry fantasy squads to a championship. Last year, we had the likes of Alvin Kamara (pick 12.08), Adam Thielen (pick 9.03) , and even Carson Wentz (pick 11.12). These were all players who were overlooked and ended up finishing top-10 at their respective positions. Coming into the 2018 fantasy season, there will undoubtedly be a handful of players who were overlooked at this time, and come this time next year, we will be dumbfounded on how we didn’t see those breakouts in our future. This is my top undervalued…
With the NBA season officially in the books, a question I see commonly asked is, when should you start looking at the 2018 Fantasy football season? It’s a great question and its answer has many different forms for many different types of fantasy players. My rule of thumb is during the off-season, keep your eye on some of the most important things like trades, free agency, and the NFL Draft. From the Draft on is when you should dive head first into the fantasy world and begin your research for your upcoming drafts. Value is a factor that can make…

Cleveland Browns Key Acquisitions: Kenny Britt, Kevin Zeitler, J.C. Tretter, Brock Osweiler Rookies: Miles Garrett, Jabrill Peppers, DeShone Kizer, David Njoku Key Losses: Terrelle Pryor Record: 4-12 Cleveland’s offensive line just became one of the best in the entire league again. The Browns gave up 66 sacks in 2016, which led to RGIII, Josh McCown, and Cody Kessler all miss time due to injury. These quarterbacks aren’t the most sturdy players in the league, but a bad o-line is definitely not a help. The Cleveland Browns have a lot of unknowns heading into the preseason. Entering training camp, Hue Jackson…
New York Jets Key Acquisitions: Josh McCown, Kelvin Beachum, Morris Claiborne Rookies: Jamal Adams, Marcus Maye, ArDarius Stewart, Chad Hansen, Key Losses: Ryan Clady, Nick Mangold, David Harris, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Eric Decker, Brandon Marshall, Darrelle Revis Record: 1-15 Looks like we have a competition for the #1 draft pick. The Jets hit the reset button this offseason and are dumping any high-paid players. With arguably the worst roster in the NFL, the Jets look to tank hard this season as they need a franchise quarterback. Josh McCown turns 300 years old this year, Bryce Petty looked abysmal in six games last…

This involved a cleanup of the coaching staff, which included hiring new head coach Kyle Shanahan, and bringing in new GM John Lynch. With Colin Kaepernick and Blaine Gabbert (yuck) out in San Fran, Brian Hoyer comes to the west coast. Kyle Shanahan has been known…
