In the first round, Furman was able to pull off a big upset over Virginia. With Virginia slowing the pace and limiting possessions, their style contrasted with the Paladins. In the end, Furman’s offense was too much. In a Second Round March Madness game against San Diego, we see a similar contrast of styles, though SDSU does a better job on defense and rebounding than Virginia.
