After an eventful offseason and a regular season filled with media drama, MVP Aaron Rodgers is looking like he will repeat. In Week 17, the Green Bay Packers clinched the top overall seed and a first-round bye. Thanks to another good game for Rodgers, an update in the NFL MVP odds views him as the runaway to win.
However, with it being a media-voted award, will they give Aaron Rodgers the MVP following the season he had?

Tom Brady looks to be the only other player in the MVP conversation. Rodgers will also likely sit at least one half next week, if not the entire game, so Rodgers won’t even have the opportunity to do enough damage to knock him out of the top spot.
Fighting his way up the NFL MVP odds is Joe Burrow, who clinched the AFC North on Sunday. His past two weeks have been historic, passing for 971 yards, eight touchdowns and no interceptions. However, it looks to be a case of “too little too late.”
The non-quarterback with the highest NFL MVP odds is Jonathan Taylor. The Indianapolis Colts running back has been incredible this season and deserves some MVP votes. He has run for 1,085 yards and 12 touchdowns over his past eight weeks, totaling 100+ yards in seven of the games.
