When is the 2025 NFL Draft?
The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.
TreVeyon Henderson Scouting Report
Strengths
TreVeyon Henderson’s size, speed (4.43) and physicality make him a great option for third downs in the NFL. While at Ohio State, Henderson showed some skill in working the route tree out of the backfield, as well as catching almost every ball thrown his way. With the ball in his hands, Henderson’s speed more often than not allowed him to outrun defenders when he found space. In the run game, Henderson works at his best when hitting the edge on stretch and zone plays. He also has not fumbled over the last three seasons.
Weaknesses
As we saw at Ohio State, Henderson won’t be able to take on a full, work-horse role in the NFL. Henderson will need to read openings on blocks quicker to be a consistent runner. He won’t be able to rely on his speed to get to the edge as NFL defenders provide a much faster opponent. Ball carrier moves will need to be developed, as he won’t be able to outrun defenders as much as he did in college.
