Of course, the quarterback from the winning team has the best chance to win the award, so the fact that the 49ers are favored to win gives Purdy a great chance. The storyline of Mr. Irrelevant becoming Super Bowl MVP in only a couple of years is also like a movie.

Many would say that the NFL MVP candidate from the San Francisco 49ers this year was running back Christian McCaffrey. While it’s tough for a non-quarterback to win the regular-season MVP, McCaffrey’s Super Bowl MVP odds (+400) show it is definitely in play for him to win this award.
