    The Super Bowl MVP history is an interesting one. With 55 Super Bowls having been played, 56 MVP awards have actually been given out. The award has been dominated by quarterbacks, with 31 awards going to the passers. Over the past 15 Super Bowls, 11 MVPs have gone to quarterbacks, two to wide receivers and two to linebackers.
