Suns vs Warriors NBA Betting Overview
Suns Outlook
Many in the NBA betting community believed the Suns were among the teams who would show marked improvement this season. However, it’s fair to wonder if anyone had Phoenix being this good. The Suns sit in firm control of a top-2 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs coming down the stretch of the season. There’s also still an outside chance that Phoenix could capture the top seed should the Utah Jazz falter in the final week.
Acquiring veteran Chris Paul in the offseason has proven to be a game-changing move for the Suns. CP3 has averaged 16.5 points, 8.9 assists and 1.8 steals per game this season. He is legitimately playing at an MVP-caliber level at the age of 36, and the leadership he has brought to the locker room is also undeniable. Of course, playing alongside a gifted scorer like Devin Booker can help make any point guard look good. The Suns would undoubtedly love to see some more consistent production in the postseason from former No. 1 overall pick, Deandre Ayton.

Warriors Outlook
What a difference a year makes. The Warriors are set to return to the NBA postseason just one season removed from being at the very bottom of the league standings. Even with No. 2 overall draft pick James Wiseman going down for the remainder of the season, Golden State continues to win games. A last-second win over the aforementioned Utah Jazz last night marked the third straight for the Warriors and allowed them to maintain the 8-seed in the current Western Conference standings.
Monday’s win came courtesy of a Stephen Curry 3-pointer with seconds remaining. Such an occurrence has been the norm for Golden State this season. Curry leads the NBA in scoring, averaging 31.9 points per game. He is shooting a ridiculous 42.6% from beyond the arc for the year and has knocked down six or more triples in seven of the team’s last nine games. No matter what the NBA betting odds for the award are, Curry has proven himself deserving of being named NBA MVP, as he is literally dragging a banged-up roster to the playoffs.

Suns vs Warriors Prop Bet
Kent Bazemore Over 10.5 Points (-124)
Given the plethora of injuries that Steve Kerr and the Warriors have been forced to work around this season, players like Kent Bazemore have found themselves in much larger roles than most would’ve imagined. The NBA betting oddsmakers have set Bazemore’s point total at 10.5 for Tuesday night’s matchup. We’ll look to include the over on this prop among our NBA picks this evening.
While Bazemore is only averaging 7.0 points per game on the season, the 31-year old is coming off a 19-point effort in Monday’s win. He shot 7-14 from the floor to accumulate that total. With Kelly Oubre Jr. and Damion Lee remaining sidelined, Bazemore should find himself playing plenty of minutes once again. Unless he bottoms out on percentages, the shots and opportunities should be there for him to exceed this NBA props total.
