Behind a big performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo and David Bakhtiari energizing a full arena of fans, the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Phoenix Suns by 20 points in Game 3. Tonight, they have the opportunity to tie this NBA Finals series up, taking momentum with them to Phoenix. While that will be no simple task, the NBA betting odds do favor them tonight.
What is fun about this Suns vs Bucks NBA Finals is that we have two true teams. There isn’t a single person or duo that does everything, as we have seen in past seasons. Instead, everyone is needed for each of their success, and role players often decide the game. This can make things fun for NBA betting props, as there are far more opportunities to make money on individual player performances.
Let’s take a look at a few of the NBA betting player props I will have exposure to in tonight’s Suns vs Bucks NBA Finals Game 4 matchup.
Suns vs Bucks NBA Betting Props | NBA Finals Picks
Jrue Holiday: Over 19.5 Points
After struggling with his shot in the first two games, Jrue Holiday finally found his rhythm in Game 3, scoring 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting and 5-for-10 from beyond the arc. Holiday has been much more comfortable at home throughout the NBA Playoffs, scoring at least 21 points in each of his last five home games and sinking at least three shots from long range in four straight home games. With his combination of heavy minutes and shooting volume, Holiday should be able to rack up at least 20 points in Game 4.
Bobby Portis: Over 6.5 Points
The usage of Bobby Portis throughout the entire postseason has been interesting to watch. While he may be a defensive liability, there is no denying his energy off the bench. He put it to use in Game 3, scoring 11 points in 18 minutes. This also was an inefficient shooting night, as he shot just 4-for-11. He should continue to be a great source of energy and offense off the bench on tonight. There is no excuse for the Bucks cutting his minutes again. Let the man play, since he has been an easy source of money from NBA betting when he has.
Deandre Ayton: Over 11.5 Rebounds
All Deandre Ayton needs is his full helping of minutes, and this prop should hit. In Game 3, he played just 24 minutes due to the game getting out of hand and the Suns searching for three-point shooters. Despite the limited playing time, he still grabbed nine rebounds. He has averaged 0.37 rebounds per minute this series, which means he needs to see about 32.5 minutes to get 12 boards, at his current pace.
Chris Paul: Over 8.5 Assists
Chris Paul has nine assists in two of the three NBA Finals games, with an eight-assist game being his only failed performance. He has been masterful in the pick-and-roll, getting easy buckets for Ayton. Assuming tonight’s game is closer than Game 3, we should see a full helping of minutes for Ayton, which helps out Paul’s assist numbers. Game 3 also saw Devin Booker shoot 3-14 overall. A better shooting performance from the young star also benefits Paul in this regard tonight.
