Format for Games
For this year’s seeding, Riot Games will be using the results from the previous two MSI tournments and Worlds. Now that Vietnam is a new region, there will be 14 teams playing in the tournament. The play-in stage will continue to have ten teams, resulting in four teams starting in the group stage.
The top two teams from the Play-In stage will advance to the Play-In Knockout round to play a Best of five against LMS or VN. The two winners from those games will then advance to the Group Stage to face off the top four teams from previous MSI’s.
