    NFL Top 100 Players of 2022: 60-51

    60. Jonathan Allen – Defensive End – Washington Commanders

The Alabama alum has turned into one of the better pass rushers in the NFL recently. On a defensive line with Chase Young and Montez Sweat, Jonathan Allen was able to show that he is the best player currently on that line. Often lining up and stunting inside, Allen finished the 2021 season with nine sacks.

    59. Chandler Jones – Outside Linebacker – Las Vegas Raiders

If we were basing this list off of Week 1 performances, Chandler Jones might be number one. In 2021, Jones recorded five sacks but saw that number stay steady, only finishing the season with 10.5 sacks. Another star player who is on a new team, Jones figures to gel well with Maxx Crosby and create havoc for quarterbacks in the AFC West.

    58. Mark Andrews – Tight End – Baltimore Ravens

When we talk about the best tight end in the NFL, Travis Kelce and George Kittle’s names are always mentioned. I think that Andrews and solidified himself enough to be in that conversation. He led all tight ends in receptions and receiving yards. With Lamar Jackson back on the field, Andrews should figure to see another 1,000-yard, 10-touchdown season.

    57. Trey Hendrickson – Defensive End – Cincinnati Bengals

Everyone will say Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase for the reasons why the Bengals went to the Super Bowl. While that is true, Trey Hendrickson actually may have been the catalyst to the team. Hendrickson signed with the Bengals in the previous offseason and totaled 14 sacks, which was fifth in the NFL. The Bengals will need Hendrickson once again if they want to compete for the Super Bowl again.

    56. Dalvin Cook – Running Back – Minnesota Vikings

While Dalvin Cook did not have the season that everyone expected him to, he still did finish with 1,159 yards in 13 games. The major flaw in Cook’s game has been his health. If Cook can stay healthy this year, he should play an incredible role next to Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen. Cook is one of the players who has the ability to take a game over completely by himself and has shown that on many occasions.

    55. J.C. Jackson – Defensive Back – Los Angeles Chargers

J.C. Jackson is yet another star player who switched teams in the offseason. After a monster year in New England last year, Jackson joins Joey Bosa, Derwin James and Khalil Mack on what is sure to be a good Chargers defense. Jackson’s ability to shut down wide receivers in man coverage was proved by his eight interceptions last year.

    54. Jeffery Simmons – Defensive Tackle – Tennessee Titans

Jeffery Simmons was a godsend for the Tennessee Titans in the 2021 season. Last year, he finished with 8.5 sacks, which ranked Simmons fifth in the NFL by an interior defensive lineman. Simmons has become one of the best power rushers in the NFL and can play the run well too. Simmons should once again lead a sneaky defensive line in Tennessee’s quest for a Super Bowl.

    53. Jason Kelce – Center – Philadelphia Eagles

Even at 34, Jason Kelce is still one of the best centers in the NFL. He once again leads one of the best offensive line units in the NFL. In 2021, Kelce was selected to his fifth Pro Bowl and third in three seasons. He also received his fourth All-Pro selection. With Jalen Hurts still developing, there might not be a better center to be with.

    52. Alvin Kamara – Running Back – New Orleans Saints

Alvin Kamara is one of the best dual-threat players in the NFL. He is noted for his strong receiving game, but when I watch Alvin Kamara, the first thing that I notice is his elusiveness. In his first season without Drew Brees, Kamara only rushed for 898 yards in 13 games. Bad quarterback play was the culprit there. With Jameis Winston under center now, Kamara should be a little bit more of what we are used to.

    51. Marcus Williams – Safety – Baltimore Ravens

Marcus Williams is the free-flowing, ball-hawking safety in the Ravens secondary now. The big step-up in William’s game has been his tackling ability. With Marcus Peters on one side and Marlon Humphrey on the other, Williams should figure to see a lot funneled his and Kyle Hamilton’s way. Williams should be in a prime position for a career year in 2022.
