The Western Conference Finals are set to continue on Tuesday night with a Game 4 matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks. After the Warriors were able to take Game 3 in Dallas on Sunday, the outlook for these two teams is drastically different heading into this matchup. Golden State faces very little pressure having now established a 3-0 series lead. Meanwhile, the Mavericks are now simply trying to avoid being swept out of the NBA Playoffs on their home floor. Can Dallas bounce back and stave off elimination? The Warriors vs Mavericks betting odds give a slight edge to the home team as a Game 4 prediction.

Below, we will go over our Warriors vs Mavericks prediction, the injury report for both teams, NBA betting odds from BetUS Sportsbook, a free stream for the NBA Playoffs and much more!

Warriors vs Mavericks Prediction

To say that the Mavericks are up against it in these Western Conference Finals would be an understatement. After all, no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a series in NBA Playoffs history. The Mavs have been no strangers to series deficits in these playoffs. However, they failed to capitalize on the series shifting to Dallas for Game 3 on Sunday night.

While the Warriors’ defense does deserve some amount of credit for how Game 3 transpired, the Mavericks failed to capitalize on numerous open looks. Dallas’ shooting woes were particularly evident from beyond the three-point arc where the team shot just 28.9% for the game. That’s hardly ideal when the primary objective of the Mavs’ offense is to have superstar Luka Doncic surrounded by three-point marksmen.

As a result, the Mavericks lost a home game in which Doncic (40 points), Spencer Dinwiddie (26) and Jalen Brunson (20) all played very well offensively. Unfortunately, they were the only three Dallas players to even crack double figures. Two of the team’s most impactful shooters from beyond the arc in these playoffs, Reggie Bullock and Maxi Kleber, both failed to score. A reversal of these shooting trends is vital to backing Dallas with a Game 4 Warriors vs Mavericks betting prediction.

— Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) May 23, 2022

On the Warriors’ side of things, Game 3 served as a showcase for former No. 1 overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins. He was second on the team to Stephen Curry in scoring and had THE poster dunk of the playoffs right over Doncic. However, the Warriors are 0-2 in potential closeout games on the road in these playoffs. Look for this proud Mavericks team to survive and force a Game 5 back in the Bay Area.
