This marks the first time since 1998 that San Francisco has qualified for the NCAA Tournament. Back in the day, USF was winning national championships with the likes of Bill Russell. Now, the Dons pose a significant challenge in the form of an uber-talented backcourt. Jamaree Bouyea and Khalil Shabazz are both excellent and experienced players. The Dons have no qualms with firing away from beyond the three-point arc. Each of their top two guards shot 35% or better from three this season.
Then, there’s Murray State. The Racers lost all of two games this season and have not dropped a single contest since a December 22nd loss at Auburn. Murray State rolled through a perfect Ohio Valley Conference season and earned every bit of the respect granted to them by the selection committee as a 7-seed. K.J.
