Fantasy Football Stats for Every NFL Week 8 Matchup
Baltimore Ravens vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
In the last three games, the Buccaneers have held the team QBs to under 215 passing yards but has allowed the team QB to score over 15 fantasy points in those three games. While Lamar Jackson is on a current slump, he has gone under 215 passing yards in his last four games and scoring more than 15 fantasy points in three of them.
The Ravens defense hasn’t gotten an interception in the last two weeks, but they haven’t allowed a QB15 or higher. This sounds identical to Tom Brady’s last two weeks, as he has not thrown an interception, but he hasn’t been a top-15 QB in those two weeks.
The Buccaneers have allowed an RB to score a touchdown in the last three games, despite none of them going over 75 total yards in the game. In the Ravens’ last four games, they have two different RBs to score and not go over 75 total yards, including last week with Gus Edwards.
Denver Broncos vs Jacksonville Jaguars
Ever since Javonte Williams was declared out for the season, the Broncos RBs have not averaged more than nine fantasy points in a game. Latavius Murray is the highest with 8.9 and is ranked 39th in that span. Meanwhile, there is a bright spot, as the Jaguars have allowed a 20+ point RB in three of the last four games.
In every game this season, the opposing DST to face the Broncos offense has scored six or more points in fantasy. The Jaguars DST has gone three straight games without scoring six or more points in fantasy.
Ever since Greg Dulcich debuted in NFL Week 6, he is 10th in tight end targets, eighth in tight end receiving yards and seventh in PPR scoring for tight ends. The Jaguars have allowed two tight ends to score more than 10 points in PPR scoring in the last four weeks.
Carolina Panthers vs Atlanta Falcons
In D’Onta Foreman’s first game this season without Christian McCaffrey, he had 145 total yards. The Falcons have allowed 90+ total yards and a touchdown to RBs in three of their last four games.
In each of the last three games, the Falcons have allowed a QB to have 300 total yards, while the Panthers haven’t had a quarterback pass more than 250 yards since Week 4 of last season. PJ Walker was the first Panthers quarterback this season to throw multiple touchdowns.
In the last two games, the Falcons have allowed four 80+ yard WRs, and three of them scored a touchdown. In fact, two of those four WRs scored two touchdowns. This is coming after DJ Moore snapped a three-game touchdown-less streak for the Panthers WR’ room last week.
Chicago Bears vs Dallas Cowboys
In Weeks 5-7, the Cowboys DST is averaging 16.3 points per game, which is second-most fantasy football stats in that span. In those three weeks, they lead the league in sacks with 14, tied for second-most interceptions with three, have forced the most fumbles with six, and recovered the most fumbles with five.
In the last six games where Dak Prescott is the starter, Dalton Schultz has scored 9.9 points or more in PPR scoring. The Bears have only allowed one tight end this season to score over 9.9 points.
In the last three weeks, the Bears have allowed an RB rushing touchdown while they don’t go over 100 yards rushing in all three games. Ezekiel Elliott is on a current two-game streak of scoring a touchdown and not going over 100 rushing yards. In fact, the last time Elliott went over 100 rushing yards was in Week 5 of the 2021 season.
Miami Dolphins vs Detroit Lions
Only once this season have the Lions had a 100-yard WR. Meanwhile, the Dolphins have allowed a 100-yard WR in three games this season, all of them being on even weeks.
In the last two games, the Lions have allowed the opposing QBs to throw for under 210 yards, not throw multiple touchdowns and score more than 13 points. Tua Tagovailoa has only done that in one of his four games where he played most of the game.
The Lions have been missing D’Andre Swift lately as their RBs are in a current two-game slump of not having scored 13 or more points in PPR leagues. In the last five weeks, the Dolphins have allowed the second most receiving yards to RBs, with two running backs over 75 receiving yards in that span. Craig Reynolds did have 68 receiving yards in Week 5, and D’Andre Swift (if he comes back) did have 77 total receiving yards in Weeks 1-3, which was 12th most in that span.
Arizona Cardinals vs Minnesota Vikings
In two of the last three weeks, the Cardinals have allowed a TE to score more than 17 points in PPR fantasy football stats. In two games this season, Irv Smith has scored more than 10 points in PPR leagues.
A Cardinals WR has seen 10+ targets in six straight weeks, but they have only gone over 100 yards if they see 12+ targets. The Vikings have seen three WRs with 10+ targets this season, all of them have not scored, but has gone over 95 receiving yards.
In all non-divisional games this season, Dalvin Cook has not gone over 90 total yards. Luckily, the Cardinals have allowed a 100-total-yard running back in three of the last four games this season.
Las Vegas Raiders vs New Orleans Saints
Josh Jacobs has gone on a three-game tear of scoring 30 or more fantasy points, by having at least 140 rushing yards and scoring a touchdown in all of those three games. In the last three games for the Saints, they’ve allowed two running backs to have 85+ rushing yards and score, on 12 or less carries.
Looks like Alvin Kamara’s streak of being touchdown-less will continue for six straight games. As the Raiders are one of three teams to not allow a touchdown to running backs in the last four weeks.
In the last three games, the Saints have allowed a QB to finish in the top 10 for the week, and top five in two of the last three games. Derek Carr has not finished QB5 or higher in his past 27 regular season games.
New England Patriots vs New York Jets
Rhamondre Stevenson has scored 19 or more points in PPR scoring in the last three weeks. The Jets who are the 13th best against fantasy RBs this season, has allowed two RBs to score over 19 points in PPR leagues this season, with the last one being in Week 5.
Last week was the first time the Patriots allowed a RB to score more than 15 fantasy points in a game. In only two games this season, has a Jets RB not scored more than 15 PPR points.
In the last three games, no Jets WR has scored more than 10 fantasy points in a game. In their last four head-to-head games against the Patriots, the Patriots have allowed a WR to score more than 10 fantasy points seven times.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Philadelphia Eagles
Diontae Johnson has seen 10+ targets and not go over 100 yards in five games this season. The Eagles have allowed six straight WRs to have 10+ targets and not go over 100 yards, dating back to last season.
The Eagles are one of 10 teams to not have a receiving touchdown by an RB this season. Meanwhile, in the last two games, the Steelers have allowed a 90+ total yard running back to score a receiving touchdown and score 20+ points in PPR leagues.
Pat Freiermuth has 75 or more receiving yards in the last two games when he has completed a game and Kenny Pickett has started, resulting in a 15.5 PPR performance. Although, the Eagles haven’t allowed a 75-yard TE this season. In the last two games, the Eagles have allowed a TE to have over 10 points in PPR scoring.
Tennessee Titans vs Houston Texans
In Derrick Henry’s last three games against the Texans, he has gone for over 210 rushing yards and scored multiple touchdowns. There’s some more great news for Derrick Henry, as the Texans have already allowed three running backs to have over 140 rushing yards, and two of the three scoring multiple touchdowns.
The Houston Texans haven’t allowed a QB to finish 16th or higher for the week in the past two games. Meanwhile, Ryan Tannehill hasn’t finished QB19 or higher in his past three games.
Dameon Pierce saw his three-game touchdown streak get snapped last week, but to make things worse. In the last five weeks, only one team has not allowed any running back touchdown of any sort, and that is the Tennessee Titans.
Washington Commanders vs Indianapolis Colts
In the last three weeks, Parris Campbell is tied for the ninth most targets in that span and has consecutive 18+ point performances in PPR scoring. Even though there is a change at quarterback, in four games this season, the Commanders have allowed an 18+ PPR WR.
The Colts have not allowed a 95-yard WR in eight straight regular season games. In Taylor Heinicke’s last seven starts as the Commanders QB, a WR has not gone over 95 receiving yards.
In Taylor Heinicke’s last seven starts, he has thrown an interception in six of those games. Since last season, the Colts have 22 total interceptions, which is tied for the seventh-most in that span.
San Francisco 49ers vs Los Angeles Rams
The Rams are going to face Christian McCaffrey for two straight games. This isn’t good news for the Rams, as they are on a current three-game streak of allowing an RB to score more than 13 points in PPR scoring. Including Christian McCaffrey, who is the only RB to face the Rams and score more than 20 points.
The Rams have only allowed one TE to score more than 10 points in PPR leagues in their last seven regular season games. George Kittle has played them twice in that span and was not the TE to score over 10 points.
Jimmy Garoppolo is on a current three-game streak of throwing for over 250 yards, throwing multiple touchdowns and scoring 17+ fantasy points in a game. The Rams have only allowed that once this season, which was Week 1 to Josh Allen.
New York Giants vs Seattle Seahawks
In the last two games, the Giants have allowed an RB to have over 110 rushing yards and to score a touchdown. This is great news for Kenneth Walker III, as he is one of two RBs, currently on a two-game streak of having 100 or more rushing yards and scoring a touchdown.
Wan’Dale Robinson leads the Giants in targets for the past two weeks with 12 and is averaging 11.85 PPR points in that span. The Seahawks have allowed 12 WRs to see six or more targets, and only half of them have scored more than 12 PPR points in a game.
While Daniel Bellinger will miss some time with an eye injury, the Giants can hopefully look forward to their tight ends having a great day, as the Seahawks have allowed a 10+ point TE in every game since Week 2.
Green Bay Packers vs Buffalo Bills
While the Packers are on a three-game losing streak, Aaron Rodgers has not thrown an interception in any of those games. The Bills in their last three games have five interceptions, which in Weeks 4-6, was tied for the most interceptions in that span.
Since Week 4, Allen Lazard is WR11 in PPR fantasy football stats. The Bills have allowed five WRs to score more than ten points in PPR scoring in the last two games.
Josh Allen has scored 25 or more points in all games this year. The Packers have not allowed a quarterback to score 25 or more points in ten straight regular season games.
Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns
In three of the last four games, the Browns have not allowed a QB to score more than 15 fantasy points. The last time Joe Burrow was held under 15 fantasy points in a game was in Week 15 of last season.
In Ja’Marr Chase’s short career, there has only been one divisional team that has not allowed him to score and have over 50 receiving yards. The Browns have allowed a 50-yard WR in six of the seven games this season.
Amari Cooper has played on Monday Night Football seven times in his career. Amari has scored a touchdown and gone over 50 receiving yards in five of those games. In the last seven Monday Night Football games the Bengals have played in, they have allowed a WR to score and go over 50 receiving yards.
