After a wreck-filled Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the NASCAR Cup Series will head North. New Hampshire Motor Speedway will host the Ambetter 301 on Sunday, July 17th. The NASCAR Xfinity Series will join the Cup Series in the North East for their showdown at the Magic Mile. The track once hosted the Truck Series too but lost its second race date for the Cup Series a couple of years ago.
Some drivers weren’t happy with each other after last week’s race, so is it time for payback? There are only seven races to go until the playoff starts and some former champions are on the outside looking in. Kevin Harvick and Brad Keselowski need wins to find themselves in the playoffs. Can a new driver emerge and clinch their way into the playoffs? Will we see a repeat winner? Will tempers flare and we get to see a fight? This Sunday, we will find out.
