X Games announced Wednesday they will host a $75,000 FACEIT Rocket League tournament next month in Minneapolis as part of the arts and entertainment side of the event, called X Fest. The X Games Rocket League Invitational will run from  July 14-16 and will be streamed live on ESPN3.

The event will be part of the X Games village, which features art installations, musical acts, interactive skateboarding and BMX courses. It runs alongside the main X Games event, which features elite skateboarding, BMX and moto events. X Games has hosted several eSports competitions in the past, including Call of Duty and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments. The 2017 X Games will take place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN from Thursday, July 13th through Sunday, July 16th.

The news comes a week after NBC Sports announced its 2-vs-2 Rocket League tournament with a $100,000 prize purse. It will be televised Aug. 5-27 on NBC Sports. Rocket League, which has more than 32 million players globally,  has seen growing success in the eSports space.
