Week 7 Fantasy football is almost in the books, with even more upsets, high-scoring games and elite fantasy performances. There were some monster Week 7 fantasy football stats, with some new and unfamiliar names appearing at the top.
Let’s check out the top NFL Week 7 fantasy football stats leaders from Sunday across all positions. This week’s notable performers include Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and even players like Daniel Jones and Mecole Hardman.
Week 7 Fantasy Football Stats Leaders | QBs
Joe Burrow Fantasy Stats
Stats: 501 total yards, 4 total TDs
Fantasy Points: 39.24 (QB1)
When Joe Burrow plays well, the Cincinnati Bengals offense looks unstoppable. Burrow lit up the Falcons in Week 7, totaling over 500 yards and throwing three touchdowns. He added even more fantasy points to his already dominant performance with a QB sneak touchdown late in the game. It’s the second straight 30+ fantasy point performance from Burrow and, considering his next few matchups are favorable, this could become a normal occurrence.
Daniel Jones Fantasy Stats
Stats: 309 total yards, 2 total TDs
Fantasy Points: 28.78 (QB2)
This may be the first and last time Daniel Jones makes an article about the top fantasy football stats of the week, but he deserves it. Jones looked composed in this matchup, completing a high percentage of passes and totaling over 100 rushing yards. He was able to log both a passing and rushing touchdown, proving he can be a solid streaming option if fantasy managers are in trouble.
Week 7 Fantasy Football Stats Leaders | RBs
Josh Jacobs Fantasy Stats
Stats: 155 total yards, 3 receptions, 3 rushing TDs
Fantasy Points: 36.5 (RB2)
After only recording one game of double-digit fantasy football stats through the first three weeks, Josh Jacobs has come to life posting yet another dominant performance. Jacobs has found the endzone six times in three games and has eclipsed 30 fantasy points all three times. Aside from Jacobs, the Raiders have been underwhelming, so ride the good performances while you can.
Austin Ekeler Fantasy Stats
Stats: 125 total yards, 12 receptions, 2 total TDs
Fantasy Points: 36.7 (RB1)
Austin Ekeler has shown he is a top fantasy running back, posting three 30+ fantasy point performances in four weeks. He didn’t get much done on the ground, but he caught all 12 of his targets for 96 yards and a touchdown. That’s 27.6 fantasy points (PPR) in receiving stats from a running back. The Chargers are a mess right now, but Ekeler will continue to dominate and be depended on to be the guy.
Week 7 Fantasy Football Stats Leaders | WRs
Ja’Marr Chase Fantasy Stats
Stats: 8 receptions, 130 yards, 2 TDs
Fantasy Points: 33.0 (WR1)
Ja’Marr Chase is simply unstoppable at times and has proven he is one of, if not the best fantasy wide receivers in the league. This is the second straight week finishing as the WR1 and above 30 fantasy points for Chase. The production should continue with some very favorable matchups approaching (CLE, CAR, PIT). Not many opposing corners have slowed down Chase enough and, even if 30-point performances aren’t a common thing, 20+ point performances most certainly are.
Mecole Hardman Fantasy Stats
Stats: 60 total yards, 4 receptions, 3 total TDs
Fantasy Points: 28.0 (WR3)
Mecole Hardman had the best game of his career against the 49ers, finding the endzone three different times. He didn’t see much volume in the passing game, but he made the most of his opportunities and scored two rushing touchdowns. He’s always been a gadget player in this offense because of his speed and acceleration. It’d be nice to see him mold into the Tyreek Hill role moving forward.
Week 7 Fantasy Football Stats Leaders | TEs
George Kittle Fantasy Stats
Stats: 6 receptions, 98 yards, 1 TD
Fantasy Points: 21.8 (TE1)
On National Tight End Day, the tight ends were… underwhelming. George Kittle finished as the TE1 with 21.8 fantasy points, but his performance was still impressive given the number of weapons in the 49ers offense. Fantasy managers shouldn’t be worried about the addition of Christian McCaffrey because Kittle will always see consistent volume. Jimmy Garoppolo trusts him to make big catches and we’ve all seen how good Kittle can be.
David Njoku Fantasy Stats
Stats: 7 receptions, 71 yards
Fantasy Points: 14.1 (TE4)
Aside from Amari Cooper, there aren’t many proven pass catchers on the Browns offense. However, tight end David Njoku has been impressive. He left the game early with an injury but still managed to haul in seven catches for 71 yards. It’s clear Jacoby Brissett trusts Njoku in passing situations and David Njoku fantasy managers have been enjoying the breakout season thus far. It’s unlikely he keeps up the high volume all season long, especially with Deshaun Watson entering the lineup soon.
Week 7 Fantasy Football Stats Leaders | D/ST and K
Dallas Cowboys DEF Fantasy Stats
Stats: 2 INTs, 2 FUM REC, 5 sacks, 3 points allowed
Fantasy Points: 26.0
Jason Myers Fantasy Stats
Stats: 3 FG Made, 4 PAT Made
Fantasy Points: 13.0
