If you are unaware what NFL survivor picks are, the basic concept is you make NFL picks throughout the season, but you can only pick a team once. Once you lose, you’re knocked out, so choose your Week 15 survivor picks wisely.

With a 2-1 week, my record currently sits at 31-11 and 14-0 on locks. We are at the point in the season where most of the better teams are picked, so we will have to get creative and make our picks based upon matchups for the rest of the year.

Teams used for “Lock of the Week”

Lock of the Week | Week 15 Survivor Picks

Arizona Cardinals vs. Eagles

The Arizona Cardinals are at a point in the season where they must win games in order to keep pace in the playoff race. This week, Philadelphia comes to Arizona. Philadelphia has been terrible on the road this season, with a record of 1-5. Traveling across the country is not going to help that record. This should be a game where Kyler Murray is able to make plays with both his arm and his legs. The Eagles new starting quarterback is rookie Jalen Hurts. He did not impress through the air last week and was forced to use his legs to win. Matched up against a defense that features young, fast players, Hurts could be in for a long day. On the offensive side of the ball, DeAndre Hopkins should be able to cash in on a huge day, due to the Eagles’ weak secondary. The Cardinals are currently at -6, but I fully expect this to be a statement game for them, beating Philadelphia by double-digits.

Value Pick of the Week | Week 15 Survivor Picks

Cleveland Browns at Giants

The Cleveland Browns just came off of a loss in one of the best games of the season last week. Baker Mayfield looked good throwing and running the ball against a solid Ravens defense. The Giants’ strength in their defense comes from their ability to stop the run (3.9 YPC allowed). I don’t think that factors much into this game though, as both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt have great receiving ability. The question marks surrounding the quarterback play for the Giants is also very concerning. Cleveland’s defense won’t have to play incredible, but just good enough, to put Mayfield and company into good field position. This game could get out of hand quickly if Cleveland carries their performance from last week to this week.

Washington Football Team vs. Seahawks

Russell Wilson took a major drop-off in his play around the mid-point of the season. This plays well into the hands of Washington, as the strength of their team is their defense. Wilson has struggled when he has been rushed, giving way for mistakes. Look for Chase Young and the defensive line to make a huge impact for Washington. On the offensive side of the ball, Dwayne Haskins won’t have to be super man to beat this defense. Terry McLaurin should be able to run open all day on the worst secondary in NFL history. Washington is also in the midst of a divisional race, so they almost need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Look for Ron Rivera to coach a wonderful game and for the defense to will the Football Team to victory.
