Week 16 Fantasy Playoffs Hidden Gems

Tyjae Spears Fantasy Outlook (44%)

For much of the season, the Tennessee Titans’ run game has been dominated by Tony Pollard. However, Pollard is currently dealing with an ankle injury and looked noticeably limited on Sunday. With Spears being the healthier option in the backfield, he has a prime opportunity to close out the season on a high note.

In Week 15, Spears shined as the RB5 in half-PPR leagues, primarily due to his receiving work. He recorded 87 receiving yards on six catches from seven targets. Looking ahead to Week 16, the Titans face a favorable matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, who have struggled against running backs. Spears is a near auto-start in playoff lineups—unless you’re already stacked with locked-in options.

 Jerome Ford Fantasy Outlook (32%)

Jerome Ford led the ground game in Week 15 with seven carries for 84 yards (12.0 YPC), highlighted by an explosive 62-yard touchdown run. He also contributed in the passing game, hauling in 2-of-2 targets for 20 yards, including a long reception of 26 yards.

Ford saw a 58% snap share and has a chance to carve out an even larger workload for the remainder of the season. With Nick Chubb sidelined for the year due to a broken foot, Ford becomes a priority add for running back-needy rosters. In Week 16, the Browns take on the Cincinnati Bengals’ vulnerable defense, providing Ford a strong shot at delivering another top-15 RB finish.

Tank Bigsby Fantasy Outlook (50%)

Tank Bigsby logged 42 rushing yards on 11 carries and failed to reel in his only target during the Jaguars’ 32-25 loss to the Jets on Sunday.

Bigsby has seen steady usage since Jacksonville’s Week 12 bye, finishing as the RB52, RB19, and RB44 over the past three weeks. With the Jaguars’ playoff hopes officially over, there’s a good chance the team will use the final weeks to further evaluate Bigsby’s potential and role.

In Week 16, the Jaguars face the Las Vegas Raiders, and the game script is likely to favor a run-heavy approach. Bigsby remains an intriguing option for managers looking for volume upside during the fantasy playoffs.
