In one of the bottom-tier matchups of NFL Week 4, the Washington Football Team will head south to take on the Atlanta Falcons. While Washington has failed to live up to expectations, Atlanta looks about as expected. This creates an interesting NFL betting matchup that is quite close in the odds.

The following Washington vs Falcons NFL betting preview will give you the current odds, betting trends and picks for the Week 4 matchup, along with a stream link to watch games all season long.

Washington’s offense has been unable to get the job done. A lackluster offensive line paired with an average, at best, quarterback has led to many drives failing to take off. They do get Curtis Samuel back from injury this week, so maybe the former Panthers receiver can provide a spark. Defensively, they may be the biggest disappoint of the season thus far. The linebackers are terrible and the secondary is weak. If not for the defensive line, this defense may be ranked much lower.

The Falcons are simply all-around bad. With Julio Jones gone, we see Matt Ryan for who he truly is. Replacing him with Kyle Pitts hasn’t been great out the gates. Teams have been able to play him as a wide receiver, and the Falcons have been unable to answer. They also struggle running the football, which puts even more pressure on this rushing offense.

Defensively, they have been quietly better than expected. However, the offense continues to put them in poor situations, so it doesn’t matter much.
