Verizon 200 Drivers to Consider | DraftKings NASCAR DFS Picks

Chase Elliott ($10,600)

The safest option for the road courses; how can you not put the 9 car in your lineup? Chase Elliott is one of the best road course racers in the history of the NASCAR Cup Series no matter how you like him. Elliott has turned it around after having a slow start to the season. Ride the hot streak the 9 is on this week in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.

AJ Allmendinger ($8,200)

So far this year AJ Allmendinger was put on the bad side of the list, but this week we can’t put him on that side. He earned the second win of his Cup Series career last season at this track. That alone should make you want him in your lineup. He finished ninth in the last race at a road course so he has these cars figured out as well. The #16 Kaulig Racing car should be put in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups for the Verizon 200.

Michael McDowell ($7,300)

The cheap option you should look at this week is Michael McDowell. They just had a penalty and lost 100 points and their crew chief for the next four races, but McDowell knows how to wheel a car around a road course. Earning more than 34 points in his last two road course races McDowell will absolutely make your team better for the price he is at. Put McDowell in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.

Verizon 200 Drivers to Avoid | DraftKings NASCAR DFS Picks

Kyle Busch ($9,800)

Kyle Busch has been abysmal on the road courses so far this year and that trend should continue this week. Kyle has not finished inside the top 20 this year on any of the road courses. 28th at COTA, 30th at Sonoma, and 29th at Road America. Those finishes equal out to a 29th place average finish for three races. Not worth the price tag on him, so avoid the 18 in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.

Joey Logano ($8,000)

Another guy who has been roughed up by the road courses this year is the driver of the 22. Joey Logano has not been good on the road courses this year. No finish higher than 17th (Sonoma) and an average finish of 25th in those three races. Combine that with the fact Logano has cooled off in recent weeks. Not a good week for Logano in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.

Ty Gibbs ($7,000)

Making his second start for the injured Kurt Busch is Ty Gibbs. Gibbs might be getting the most track time a driver can get, but with him making his second start in the car it might not be that great. Not a lot of data on him and 45 team has not been great at the road courses so far this year. Avoid the Xfinity Series driver in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.
