2023 Tim Hortons Brier Preview:
Brad Gushue’s team will enter the tournament as defending champions, with E.J. Harnden this year. Gushue has been a dominant force at the Briers, looking for their fifth win at the event, coming out on top in four out of the last seven Briers. Each side will play eight games against its pool teams, and as mentioned before, the top three teams from each pool will advance to the next stage.
Moreover, just like a previous couple of years, Curling Canada has axed the do-or-die wild-card game and has replaced it with three wild-card teams.
This year’s Tim Horton Brier’s winning side will represent Canada at the 2023 BKT Tire & OK Tire World men’s championship from April 1 to 9 in Ottawa. Moreover, the winning side will return next year to defend its title as Team Canada at the 2024 Tim Hortons Brier.
