Graham Barton Highlights

Graham Barton Scouting Report

Strengths

Graham Barton has versatility, making starts at center his freshman year before moving to left tackle. His game has a bit of nastiness to it, finishing blocks with some attitude in the run game. He also has great grip strength and his hand placement is consistent. Barton is a technically sound player.

Weaknesses

He played tackle the past three seasons, but there’s no way he can consistently succeed at the position in the NFL due to his size (not a knock, as long as he plays on the interior). Barton is shorter while also having short arms. He doesn’t recover well after he is beaten on the outside, and he sort of launches himself in the open field instead of forming up on linebackers.

Graham Barton is a versatile lineman who gives the Buccaneers a variety of options heading into offseason programs. However, he projects best to play interior offensive line. He will move bodies up front and help to set the tone right away in Week 1. He is a Day 1 starter who you can feel great about immediately, as long as he plays guard or center.
