The Suns appeared to revert to their original defensive game plan on Tuesday night. Other than Luka Doncic (28 points) and Jalen Brunson (21), Phoenix shut down the Mavericks’ offense entirely. Davis Bertans was the only other Dallas player who even managed to crack double figures in the blowout. If Ayton can provide the offensive boost that he did in Game 5, the Suns have to like their chances of closing out this series on the road tonight. After all, the 30-point win on Tuesday occurred despite Chris Paul only scoring seven points. After back-to-back miserable shooting displays, one has to believe Paul will bounce back and then some in Game 6.
