When is the 2025 NFL Draft?
The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths
Shemar Stewart has all of the things you cannot teach — rare size, length and athleticism. He has a great first step and has the quickness to get around the edge. With his speed and explosion, Stewart has the potential to be a real problem for opposing offenses.
Weaknesses
Stewart is raw as an edge rusher, which is a big reason for his lack of production in college. Seemingly, he just lines up and tries to run to the ball. He doesn’t have many moves in his arsenal, and Stewart sort of plays in his own bubble without much understanding of what is happening.
Despite having a length advantage often in college, Stewart also lets tackles get to him first and stay engaged. Instead of fighting through these blocks, Stewart leans or hand-fights.
