Notre Dame vs Rutgers Prediction | March Madness Picks and Bracketology

The final game of the First Four is one of the most exciting ones. Notre Dame will lean on their outside shooting while Rutgers will look to do most of their damage inside the arc.

It’s no secret that Rutgers has played much better since the start of January. They even had a stretch where they were the “giant killers.” However, they have now lost four of their past six games. They will need a big performance from Ron Harper Jr. to win this one.

Notre Dame got knocked out of the ACC Tournament right away by the eventual champions. Prior to that, they were playing well, but the level of competition clearly wasn’t much to brag about. For this reason, I lean toward Rutgers getting the upset, especially in a projected low-scoring game.

However, the favorite bet is to side with the UNDER. The under has hit in four of Rutgers’ past five games. The under has also hit 73.3% of the time in the 11-seed play-in game.

Our college basketball betting Notre Dame vs Rutgers prediction tonight will be the point total going UNDER at BetUS

For what it’s worth, the ESPN Matchup Predictor gives Notre Dame a 60.6% chance to win.
