One of the best NFL weeks is in the books, as we had NFL football on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday. Despite the awesome schedule, the overall quality of play across the league continues to suffer, and another head coach got the axe as a result. While we can’t give any of the teams “the axe” in the Week 13 NFL Power Rankings below, we really wish we could.

The 32 teams below are ranked both on where they stand and where they are projected to go. This means that the injuries of today do play a major factor. The NFL is a short season and every loss matters.

With that being said, let’s jump into the Week 13 NFL Power Rankings!

NFL Power Rankings For Week 13

1) Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week: 1)

The Philadelphia Eagles were tested in their matchup with the Buffalo Bills. But after the overtime win without Lane Johnson, they hang onto the top spot in the Week 13 NFL Power Rankings. The offensive line isn’t as dominant as in past seasons. but the Eagles are obviously still good upfront. They need to be healthy when it matters, as the next team on our list made a move at the NFL Trade Deadline to attack this offensive front.

2) San Francisco 49ers (2)

The San Francisco 49ers trading for Chase Young is a move that has been slept on. It gives them the ability to bring in a fifth defensive lineman and generate a ton of pressure, while they still have six in coverage. The defense is great and the offense is stellar when healthy. With the win over Seattle, the 49ers’ focus shifts to the top overall seed in the NFC, as the division is essentially wrapped up.

3) Kansas City Chiefs (3)

The Kansas City Chiefs found themselves trailing the Las Vegas Raiders deep into the second quarter, but they tied it up before halftime and never looked back. The defense really stepped up in the second half, as did rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice. The Chiefs desperately need a reliable receiving option to take some attention away from Travis Kelce. If Rice can continue to improve and become a competent option, the Chiefs will be the team to beat in the AFC. Until then, the offense will continue to look out of sync.

4) Baltimore Ravens (4)

The Baltimore Ravens are the top team in the AFC, as they head into their Week 13 bye. While Mark Andrews is out, the Ravens’ passing game is respectable, which makes this a balanced offense. A balanced offense that is led by Lamar Jackson is scary. Pair that with one of the league’s top defenses, and it’s no wonder the Ravens have been a mainstay near the top of our NFL Power Rankings this season.

5) Dallas Cowboys (8)

The Dallas Cowboys came to play on Thanksgiving, beating the stuffing out of the Washington Commanders. Dallas continues to be the most dominant team at home this season, but they’ll need some help in order to host a playoff game. The question for the Cowboys is if they can continue to bring the same energy against solid teams on the road. Until then, they are just a talented team on paper. They are, however, trending in the right direction.

6) Miami Dolphins (6)

The Miami Dolphins are so close to being a good team. Jalen Ramsey returns and looks good, tying together this secondary. Immediately after, Jaelan Phillips tears his Achilles. The defense will still be decent, but losing a star at this point in the season isn’t great. Offensively, the Dolphins are drawing up great plays, but Tyreek Hill needs to stay healthy and Tua Tagovailoa needs to limit the mental lapses. If these two things happen, Miami will remain relevant in our NFL Power Rankings.

7) Detroit Lions (5)

Simply, the Detroit Lions got their ass kicked on Thanksgiving. They flat-out lost to a poor Green Bay Packers team less than a week after nearly losing to the Chicago Bears. Jared Goff continues to prove he’s a below-average quarterback when he’s pressured. This leaves us asking if Detroit is capable of winning games if they are unable to start out fast. Regardless, this is still a good football team, but they need to stop turning the ball over in order to be taken seriously.

8) Jacksonville Jaguars (7)

The Jacksonville Jaguars got an important win over the Houston Texans to essentially lock up the AFC South. However, Houston didn’t make it easy on them. The Jaguars overcame an injury scare to Travis Etienne, but it’s the play of Trevor Lawrence that is more concerning. There is no doubt that he has many great moments, but consistency remains a major issue, and it’s a big reason why the Jags aren’t taken seriously in the AFC.

9) Pittsburgh Steelers (12)

The Pittsburgh Steelers had not topped 400 offensive yards in 58 games. During the same span, every other team in the NFL had been able to accomplish this feat at least three times. Pittsburgh finally fired offensive coordinator Matt Canada, and they immediately went for over 400 yards. While they will likely not accomplish this much more this season, if the Steelers can be a balanced team, they will be tough to beat.

10) Buffalo Bills (10)

The Buffalo Bills lost this past week, causing them to fall to 10th in the AFC. Yikes. Still, they looked good in the game, especially on offense. There are a couple of drops and missed calls that would’ve helped them win, but it ended up being another overtime loss for Josh Allen. Despite the situation around them, the Bills stay put in the Week 13 NFL Power Rankings because they’re better than the teams below. Don’t count them out of the playoff race just yet.

11) Seattle Seahawks (11)

12) Houston Texans (13)

13) Denver Broncos (18)

14) Los Angeles Rams (19)

15) Cleveland Browns (9)

16) Cincinnati Bengals (14)

17) Los Angeles Chargers (15)

18) New Orleans Saints (17)

19) Indianapolis Colts (21)

20) Minnesota Vikings (16)

21) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (20)

22) Atlanta Falcons (24)

23) Tennessee Titans (23)

24) Green Bay Packers (26)

25) New York Jets (22)

26) Washington Commanders (25)

27) Chicago Bears (28)

28) Arizona Cardinals (27)

29) New York Giants (31)

30) Las Vegas Raiders (30)

31) New England Patriots (29)

32) Carolina Panthers (32)
