Following a chaotic Saturday of college football, the NFL saw many competitive games for a change. We saw many games decided by one score, with road teams faring well. The Super Bowl champions continued to struggle, though they got a win. On the NFL side, Detroit and Philadelphia continue to be the class of the conference, and it will show in our Week 13 NFL Power Rankings.

Our weekly NFL Power Rankings will be released here on FlurrySports every Tuesday, so make sure to check them out every single week to see which direction your team is trending. As always, these power rankings factor in both how a team is playing right now as well and their actual ability to win a Super Bowl. This seems to be hard to comprehend for some, but I believe you can do it.

NFL Power Rankings For Week 13

1) Detroit Lions (Last Week: 2)

For the first time this season, the Detroit Lions are the top-ranked team in the NFL Power Rankings. They survived an injury scare to David Montgomery, who apparently is fine. Right now, there is no doubt the Lions are playing like the best team in the league. However, their aggressive approach will lead to the occasional loss and their physical play will lead to injuries. They hope that these two things don’t show up when it matters most.

2) Kansas City Chiefs (1)

The Kansas City Chiefs are still the team most likely to win the Super Bowl. However, you cannot come off of a loss to nearly lose to the Carolina Panthers. I would look like an absolute fool to keep them at the top spot after that. I still have full faith in the Chiefs, and they will get Isiah Pacheco back this week to bring some attitude back to this offense. He also helps to create more “third and short” situations, which is where Kansas City can make opponents really hurt.

3) Philadelphia Eagles (3)

We’ve been saying it all season long, but the Philadelphia Eagles are a very good football team. Now, everyone else believes it too. The injuries to the receiving corps remain concerning, as does the overall workload of Saquon Barkley. However, the offense has weapons everywhere, and the defense is full of young studs who are led by one of the league’s best defensive minds.

4) Baltimore Ravens (4)

The Baltimore Ravens got a hard-fought road win against a good Chargers team despite missing their signal caller on defense. When on their game, there may not be a better team in the league. However, the Ravens beat themselves too often with penalties especially, as we saw how this almost cost them the game on Monday as well.

5) Pittsburgh Steelers (5)

The Pittsburgh Steelers lost a weird Thursday Night Football game on the road, against a divisional opponent, and in weather. There isn’t a reason to panic here. The Steelers still have one of the league’s best defenses, one of the better young receivers, and the running game is decent. This is a football team that is capable of going on a run.

6) Buffalo Bills (6)

The Buffalo Bills enjoyed a week off. If they can get their receiving corps healthy and involved for cohesively, watch out for this team. Until then, it’s tough to take a team seriously if they are weak against the run and don’t have consistency on offense.

7) Minnesota Vikings (9)

The Minnesota Vikings survived a late-game collapse to the Chicago Bears. This Minnesota secondary isn’t great, but their front seven is. The defense must continue to generate creative and consistent pressure since they can get picked apart if they don’t. Offensively, they have a group of really talented receivers and running backs. The offensive line and quarterback, however, have their fair share of moments (both good and bad).

8) Los Angeles Chargers (10)

The Los Angeles Chargers lost this past week, but there’s no doubt that they are one of the better teams in the league. Hopefully, JK Dobbins’ injury isn’t severe, as he is a massive part of this offense. While the Chargers are still a playmaker or two away from being a true threat, they are certainly on their way to becoming one.

9) Green Bay Packers (11)

The Green Bay Packers ran the ball down the throat of the San Francisco 49ers for a change. This is a Packers team that will always make mistakes and give their opponents opportunities. However, if Josh Jacobs and the running game continue to be effective on early downs, then it reduces the chances that Jordan Love or Matt LaFleur hurt the team. Defensively, this is a group that remains opportunistic, but they will struggle against offenses that force them to cover the full field.

10) Houston Texans (8)

This was going to be a tough game for the Houston Texans’ offense since the Tennessee defense has plenty of talent and plays tough. However, Houston giving up 32 points in a loss was not on my bingo card, and it is concerning. They stay in the top 10 of the NFL Power Rankings since there aren’t that many good teams in the league, but they need to make right on this week’s get-right game against Jacksonville.

11) Atlanta Falcons (12)

12) San Francisco 49ers (7)

13) Washington Commanders (13)

14) Seattle Seahawks (14)

15) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (15)

16) Arizona Cardinals (16)

17) Denver Broncos (18)

18) Los Angeles Rams (17)

19) Miami Dolphins (20)

20) Cincinnati Bengals (19)

21) Cleveland Browns (22)

22) Indianapolis Colts (21)

23) Chicago Bears (24)

24) New Orleans Saints (25)

25) New York Jets (23)

26) Dallas Cowboys (26)

27) Tennessee Titans (27)

28) New England Patriots (28)

29) New York Giants (29)

30) Jacksonville Jaguars (30)

31) Las Vegas Raiders (31)

32) Carolina Panthers (32)
