The Seattle Seahawks opted to make a draft pick that fits with their status as the defending Super Bowl champs on Night 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft. As one of two Notre Dame running backs taken in the First-Round, the Jadarian Price fantasy football outlook is a bit clearer now that he has his team. Obviously, there is so much that can happen between now and the regular season. Still, teams are mostly set, and dynasty rookie drafts will kick off as soon as next week.
Below, we will take a look at the draft profile for the former Notre Dame running back. We will also give our instant takeaways about Jadarian Price’s fantasy value for both redraft and dynasty fantasy football leagues.

Jadarian Price Scouting Report
Strengths
What jumps off the page about Jadarian Price when watching his tape is the strong physicality that he runs with. When running with the ball, it looks like he wants to run over anyone in his path. With that physical running style, he shows exceptional balance to stay on his feet when he does make contact with defenders. Price was able to succeed in the passing attack in college, something that should carry over well to the NFL.
On top of his physical style of running, Price does carry some speed with him, making him a force when he can get to the second level.
Weaknesses
The top aspect that NFL teams would love to see Price improve upon is adding some weight, given his physical running style. At 203 lbs, he does not have the body to be an every-down back for teams. It is also yet to be seen how he can work in a workhorse role, as he was not given many opportunities to do so, playing behind Jeremiyah Love.
While he has shown patience waiting for his blocks to set up, Price has danced in the backfield too much before.
Jadarian Price Fantasy Football Outlook
Price’s 2026 Value
As far as redraft leagues are concerned, the Seahawks have an immediate opportunity for Price at the RB position following the departure of Kenneth Walker in free agency. However, there’s certainly room for debate as to whether Price is capable of matching the skill set of Walker in terms of how Seattle used him.
Of course, Zach Charbonnet is still around and will likely retain his status as the team’s featured red zone back. While this will continue to frustrate fantasy football managers, this landing spot gives Price RB3-type upside for his rookie campaign if things work out well.
Jadarian Price Dynasty Fantasy Football Value
For some of us, Price wasn’t even considered the second-best running back available in this year’s draft class. That opinion can basically be thrown out the window given his landing spot and the draft capital that the Seahawks used on him. The fact that he was taken on Night 1 firmly solidifies Price’s status as a mid- first-round pick in dynasty rookie drafts. While five players remain firmly ahead of him, he is in the conversation starting at 1.06.
