Game 2 went as most us expected it to. The Nets coasted to a 22-point victory, while none of their starters saw 30 minutes. Of Brooklyn’s starting five, it may be surprising that Joe Harris helped the Nets explode out of the gates. He totaled 25 points, hitting seven shots from downtown. It was a balanced attack from the “big three.” Kevin Durant scored 26 points with five assists, James Harden scored 20 points with seven assists, and Kyrie Irving had 15 points and six assists. They simply are more talented than the Celtics, and the shift to Boston shouldn’t change that.
Another postseason, another Celtics point guard banged up. Kemba Walker is apparently questionable to play today, as he is listed with a left knee medial bone bruise. In my personal opinion, I think his ego may be more bruised than his knee. If Walker joins Jaylen Brown on the sideline, then the Celtics have zero chance to win this series. This becomes even more true if Jayson Tatum continues to not show up. In Game 2, he scored nine points on 3-12 shooting. Not only is this not good enough to win this game, it’s not good enough for the Celtics to even be competitive during the game.
