The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths
Yes, Mike Green played against weaker opponents than most other top prospects. However, he couldn’t have been a more productive player in college. Green is a high-energy player on the edge who has a nose for the football. He has explosive power, but he has the quickness to get around the edge or down the line to make a play a well.
Green enters the NFL as polished as any defender in the draft. He has a variety of moves, and Green has shown that he is capable of setting his opponent up. Green is a high-IQ, relentless defender. He’s the kind of player that coaches get up early for, whether you are coaching him or against him.
Weaknesses
Green isn’t as long as other elite pass rushers, so some of the better and longer tackles could get the best of him. His departure from Virginia and the season off raises red flags, so it is something teams will have to look into.
