After yet another unremarkable season, the Miami Dolphins finally decided to clean house. The team brought in Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley to take over the team, and now has Malik Willis leading the team at quarterback. Even with plenty of change already taking place, the Dolphins still have plenty of work to do. The franchise has some good pieces, but they have some massive holes that need to be addressed quickly. Luckily, with two picks in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, Miami has plenty of options to retool a weak roster.

Here are three Miami Dolphins draft targets to take with the 30th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Miami Dolphins Draft Targets at No. 30

Treydan Stukes, S, Arizona

Even the most diehard Miami Dolphins fans probably wouldn’t be able to name the starting safeties for the team heading into 2026. While there are certainly plenty of safeties that fly under the radar, that is not the case in Miami, and that is a hole that needs to be filled immediately. Outside of wide receiver and maybe cornerback, it’s hard to see many positions on the team in a more dire circumstance than safety.

Assuming the Dolphins don’t get one of the premier options earlier in the first round, they will still have plenty of options available to them at this pick. One of the best options is Treydan Stukes out of Arizona. Not only is Stukes one of the best safeties, but he is also one of the more athletic players in this entire draft class. He posted a 4.33-second 40-yard dash time along with a 38-inch vertical and a broad jump just under 11 feet. His speed and athleticism make him a huge asset in run support. He can make plays in the open field and also makes plays on the ball constantly, which makes him a great option for a team lacking defensive difference makers in their secondary.

Chris Johnson, CB, San Diego State

The Miami Dolphins have plenty of issues in the secondary, and it is not limited to the safety position. The Dolphins are still looking for a bona fide CB1 and CB2 and can help shore that position up at the 30th overall pick. Chris Johnson may not have played at a big school like some of the other cornerback prospects, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t one of the top players in this draft class.

Johnson is as athletic as any other corner in this draft and has decent size as well. Johnson was named Second-Team All-American thanks to his solid coverage and great footwork. He’s a good tackler as well and does a good job tracking the ball in the air. While he did have some issues with bigger receivers in college, that is something that can easily be worked on, as he will now be able to go up against better competition consistently, which will allow him to fine-tune the weaker parts of his game.

Denzel Boston, WR, Washington

There is no doubt that the wide receiver position is at the top of the Miami Dolphins’ draft targets on the first day of the draft. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are both gone, so they need some talent in order to set Malik Willis up for success. Late in the first round, they could see Denzel Boston fall into their laps. Boston is a big, physical wide receiver who would fit well on an offense that will be built as a physical, run-first scheme.
