Talk about a tale of two teams. The Mavericks raced out to a 2-0 series lead thanks to Luka Doncic taking over, with the supporting cast doing just enough to finish off the Clippers. The next two games, however, Kawhi Leonard looked absolutely unstoppable, as Kristaps Porzingis was seemingly exposed on defense every single possession. With Luka’s nerve injury in his neck obviously hampering him in Game 4, they’ll need him to somehow put up a classic Luka performance if they have any shot at winning. If Porzingis continues to be a shell of himself, Dallas will need either Tim Hardaway Jr. or Dorian Finney-Smith to step up and knock down some big time shots.

While Paul George is certainly no “Pandemic P” anymore, it’s been Kawhi who has been responsible for the quick Clippers turnaround. Leonard is shooting 63% from the field and 48% from deep. With those kind of numbers, the supporting cast really doesn’t have to do all that much. The story of the series is if they can slow down Doncic. It’s impossible to stop him, but if the Clippers can again limit the damage he can cause, Game 5 is all but theirs.
