Malik Nabers Scouting Report
Strengths
Simply put, Nabers is an explosive athlete who can absolutely fly. He has put on tape superb burst and explosiveness, allowing him to create separation downfield and capitalize on opportunities for big plays. Additionally, he has the frame, mass, and length to complement his speed and make plays on the ball.
Malik Nabers possesses the skills and traits necessary to produce effectively on all three levels of the field in the NFL. With his ability to change speed during routes, fly past defenders, and keep defensive backs off balance, he showcases excellent route-running ability and versatility. He will be a target for his quarterback no matter where he’s running his route.
Weaknesses
As is the case with many young receivers, Nabers has room to improve at the line of scrimmage. He sometimes wastes time on his release and doesn’t get upfield quick enough. He will benefit from an NFL team’s ability to coach technique at the line of scrimmage and release packages.
