Strengths

Johnny Juzang delivered an incredible performance during UCLA’s run to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament. After hardly being considered a Second Round pick, he is now shooting up draft boards. Juzang has good size for a wing player and is deceptively quick. He is a pure scorer who can finish from both in close and beyond the 3-point arc. His shooting stroke is silky smooth and his quick release enables him to score under duress. Juzang also has an accomplished mid-range game compared to many other 2021 NBA Draft prospects. His ball-handling is skilled enough for him to get past defenders.

Weaknesses

While he has adequate size for the position, Juzang is far from the most athletic wing in this year’s draft class. When it comes to running, jumping and playing above the rim, he is average at best. Juzang will need to add some more size and also work to improve his footwork and quickness at the NBA level. Such improvements will also help his defensive game.
