Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Prediction

It will be interesting to see how Minnesota responds in this game. They had a massive lead late in Game 3, but they were outscored by 25 points in the fourth quarter. This can be deflating for any team, but especially an inexperienced one.

For Minnesota, there are a couple of keys to victory. First off, they need to stop Desmond Bane, who poured in seven shots from downtown in Game 3. He was the only Memphis player doing any damage during long stretches, and he helped to swing the momentum.

The Timberwolves also need Karl-Anthony Towns to wake up. In 33 minutes last game, he finished 3/4 from the floor and 2/2 from the charity stripe. He has all of the talent in the world, but there may not be a less mature or more oblivious seventh-year player in the history of the NBA.

Ultimately, I expect the Timberwolves to be competitive and have leads in this game. However, it’s tough to trust them to be poised enough to maintain a lead. So, look for the Grizzlies, the more mentally tough team, to stay the course and give themselves an opportunity to win the series on their home floor.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Prediction: Grizzlies 118, Timberwolves 111
