As Week 7 of the season wrapped up, there were plenty of players out with injury, which may leave your fantasy football rosters looking a little different and potentially weaker. While it’s hard to bench your fantasy studs you drafted before the season began, the option of streaming players off the waiver wire could bode well for your success in your fantasy football league. It is always a better decision to weigh your options and play the player with a much better matchup than start the same guy every week hoping for a breakout game.

Read on for three wide receiver fantasy football streamers for Week 8. Despite having late-round ADPs or going undrafted, these players have a great chance to carve out a bigger role moving forward, especially with the number of wide receivers still dealing with injuries and are on a bye this week. Luckily, it’s only BAL and LV this time around, which shouldn’t hurt your wide receiver position too much but nonetheless, streaming options will be available.

Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the Week 8 fantasy football wide receiver streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Week 8 Fantasy Football WR Streamers

Russell Gage, Atlanta Falcons vs. CAR (11.2%)

Since sitting out multiple games with an injury, Russell Gage seems to finally be healthy enough to contribute in fantasy football moving forward into the second half of the season. He caught 4-of-6 targets for 67 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins last week, one of the worst fantasy defenses against opposing wide receivers thus far. This week, he faces the Panthers, who have lost four straight games after starting out 0-3. They are currently surrendering over 35 fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing wide receivers. He’s only played in three games so far but has seen 15 targets, as well as four red zone looks, in that span. It’s not an eye-popping streaming option, but in a matchup between two very mediocre teams, he should be able to make some noise.

K.J. Osborn, Minnesota Vikings vs. DAL (8.6%)

K.J. Osborn has some serious talent but is often forgotten because he’s behind both Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson on the depth chart. Kirk Cousins has looked sharp this season, finding multiple targets per game and not forcing it to Thielen for chunk plays, and Osborn has benefited from that. Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs will likely be guarding Justin Jefferson all game, and it’s very possible that Osborn sees a bigger target share with the Dallas defense focused on containing the two top Vikings wide receivers. Dallas surrenders over 40.8 FPPG to opposing wide receivers this season and it’s possible this game turns into a shoot-out sooner than later.

Equanimeous St. Brown, Green Bay Packers at ARI (0.4%)

Now, this is more of a desperate dart throw fantasy football streaming option, but Equanimeous St. Brown could pay off for you if you’re in a deep league with not many receivers available. Both Davante Adams and Allen Lazard were placed on the COVID-19 list the past two days, leaving two of the top receiving options likely out for Thursday Night Football against the Cardinals. Arizona has been somewhat solid containing opposing wide receivers thus far, surrendering just over 36 FPPG, but if their offense generates the same amount of points as usual, Aaron Rodgers and company will need to throw the ball. It is worth noting that Marquez Valdes-Scantling could return to the lineup from IR for this matchup, but there are plenty of up-for-grabs targets available right now and St. Brown will see a solid chunk of them.
