Fantasy Football Week 8 TE Streamers

Jonnu Smith Fantasy Outlook (3.7%)

Jonnu Smith has suddenly become one of the targets to own in this Miami Dolphins offense, and it’s about time everyone catches up. To be transparent, I don’t know why the Dolphins have refused to pass to Tyreek Hill lately, but Jonnu Smith has made the most out of his newly expanded role.

Smith has put up double-digit points in PPR leagues the last two weeks and three times over the last five weeks. He has commanded 15 targets over the past two games and, even if quarterback Tua Tagovailoa comes back this week, it’s hard to see that usage suddenly go elsewhere.

Noah Fant Fantasy Outlook (7.9%)

Last week, Noah Fant was the top guy that I highlighted in this fantasy football streamers article. All he did was go out and haul in all four of his targets for 65 yards. That makes it two straight weeks that Fant has topped 10 points in PPR leagues and three weeks over the past five. There is clearly a role for him in this offense and it won’t go away anytime soon.

Ja’Tavion Sanders Fantasy Outlook (0.5%)

He may not win you your matchup anytime soon, but Ja’Tavion Sanders is becoming quite the intriguing fantasy football streamers option at the tight end position. He’s been targeted on over 20% of his routes, which is intriguing given that the Carolina Panthers are having him run a lot more routes recently. Over the last three weeks, Sanders has averaged six targets per game, and he has a combined 11 receptions for 110 yards in the past two games. While that’s far from being an “elite” option, it’s clear he has a solid role, which can’t be said for many other tight ends this year.
