When it comes to the tight end position, fantasy football managers either aim for an elite tight end or look for fantasy football streamers on the waiver wire. Streaming a tight end each week can be a nightmare because the position is essentially a wasteland more often than not, aside from the usual top options. However, if you’ve taken this route this year, read on for three fantasy football Week 6 TE streamers that are worth your consideration.

Keep in mind, bye weeks have begun (HOU, DET, LV, TEN).

Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 6 TE streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Fantasy Football Week 6 TE Streamers

Hayden Hurst Fantasy Outlook at NO (39.7%)

The New Orleans Saints are one of the better defenses against opposing tight ends this season, allowing just under 6.0 fantasy points per game (FPPG) The Cincinnati Bengals offense has been looking better slowly over the weeks, and Hayden Hurst has been a featured target, seeing at least seven targets in three games so far. He’s scored a touchdown in back-to-back games and, with injuries still plaguing Tee Higgins, he could see another seven-target day against the Saints.

Hurst currently ranks as the TE11 in fantasy football, and he is among the top fantasy football Week 6 TE streamers.

Taysom Hill Fantasy Outlook vs CIN (42.7%)

Well, not many expected Taysom Hill to score four touchdowns last week, but fantasy managers bought into it, as his ownership rose over 30 percent as waivers were processed. Surely fantasy managers can’t expect 30+ fantasy point performances every week, but considering the Saints are dealing with QB injuries right now, it isn’t a terrible idea to stream him this week.

The Bengals allow double-digit fantasy points to opposing tight ends thus far and, if Andy Dalton can’t get it going, Hill’s name may be called again. His snap count will certainly increase regardless because he was responsible for four different scores.

Evan Engram Fantasy Outlook at IND (21.6%)

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a confusing team because there’s so much talent, then they fail to score a touchdown against a measly Texans defense. Evan Engram has seen solid volume this season, totaling two games with at least eight targets. He saw 10 targets alone last week when it seemed like the receivers couldn’t hold onto the ball resulting in a ton of drops. When things aren’t going right in the passing game, Trevor Lawrence’s go-to could be Engram. The Colts are bottom-five against opposing tight ends right now, putting Evan Engram among the fantasy football Week 6 TE streamers.
