Fantasy Football Week 5 QB Streamers

CJ Stroud Fantasy Outlook (52.3%)

CJ Stroud fantasy football owners were rewarded for reading our fantasy football streamers article last week. The rookie’s 21.8 fantasy points were enough to make him QB10 for the week, and he is also QB10 for the season. Yet, he remains widely available, so he will be featured again in this week’s fantasy football Week 5 QB streamers article.

This week, CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans face the Atlanta Falcons.

Sam Howell Fantasy Outlook (13.2%)

Last week, Sam Howell and his late-game heroics earned 19.6 fantasy points, good for QB13. The Washington Commanders’ quarterback has put up one dud this season, and it came on a week where he was sacked a whopping nine times.

This week, he faces the Chicago Bears. Not only are the Bears not a risk to stack up a bunch of sacks, but they often don’t know how to line up (not a joke). The Bears are dead last in the league in sacks per game, at 0.5. Sam Howell has proven to be very accurate when he has time to throw this season, and we should see this on display during Thursday Night Football. Howell is among the top fantasy football Week 5 QB streamers.

Zach Wilson Fantasy Outlook (6.1%)

While the New York Jets did lose to the Kansas City Chiefs last week, Jets fans had to come away from that game feeling a sense of optimism. Yes, some of that was from Aaron Rodgers saying he wants to play again this season. However, the majority of this positive energy should have come from the Zach Wilson fantasy performance, as he looked terrific.

Wilson completed over 70% of his passes, threw two touchdowns and didn’t throw an interception last week. That was against a talented Kansas City defense. This week, he faces the Denver Broncos, who have been arguably the worst defense in the NFL this season.

The Broncos rank dead last in completion percentage allowed, at an incredible 78.13%. Last week, they let Justin Fields pass all over them. This week, the same could easily happen for Zach Wilson, making him a solid fantasy football streamer. Check out my Week 5 fantasy football rankings to see where Zach Wilson is ranked!
