Week 2 is upon us and, unfortunately, there have already been some big injuries to key fantasy football assets. Some of those injured household names, and those likely to miss Week 2, include David Njoku and Jake Ferguson. While no teams are on bye this early in the season, this week can still cause plenty of issues, especially in deeper leagues. Regardless, you may need some help on the waiver wire this week in the form of Week 2 fantasy football TE streamers.
Pick the right fantasy football streamer option to get the win this week and continue down the path of fantasy greatness, which ends with you hoisting your league’s trophy, championship belt or champ chain.
Players must be owned in less than 60 percent of ESPN fantasy leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 2 TE streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Fantasy Football Week 2 TE Streamers
Greg Dulcich Fantasy Outlook (1.1%)
Although Greg Dulcich didn’t do anything crazy in Week 1, he did play 46 of the team’s 69 snaps. Dulcich had three targets, hauling in two for 12 yards. With how weak the tight end position looked in Week 1, owners need to take advantage of any player who can get targets. Bo Nix struggled heavily in Week 1 and will be facing a tough Pittsburgh Steelers team in Week 2. With Nix needing to get the ball out fast, Dulcich should be a good bet to get a bigger share of the targets, making him a great fantasy football TE streamer to grab.
Colby Parkinson Fantasy Outlook (10.4%)
In Week 1, Colby Parkinson looked like a guy who has the full trust of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. Parkinson hauled in four of five targets for 47 yards. The big story out of the Rams’ overtime loss to the Detroit Lions was the knee injury to wide receiver Puka Nacua. While Parkinson certainly won’t get all of Puka’s targets, it’s hard to see him not getting the same usage at the very least, making him a viable tight end option in Week 2.
Jordan Akins Fantasy Outlook (0.3%)
David Njoku was absolutely money last year, finishing as TE6 in both PPR and half-PPR. In Week 1, he hauled in four catches for 44 yards in a game where the Cleveland Browns could get nothing going offensively. After hauling in a catch in the third quarter, Njoku went to the medical tent before heading to the locker room with an ankle injury. Jordan Akins had four targets himself, even with Njoku in more than half of the game.
In Week 2, with Njoku out of the picture, Akins should be able to take his role and be a productive option at the tight end position. (Editor’s note: speaking of out of the picture, have you spoken to your kid in Wisconsin, Jordan Akins? Shoutout to the deadbeats.)
