Fantasy Football Week 2 WR Streamers
Wan’Dale Robinson Fantasy Outlook (11.2%)
Wan’Dale Robinson quietly led the New York Giants in receptions (12) in their embarrassing loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. He finished with a 28.5% target share and was being targeted by Daniel Jones consistently when he was on the field. The only red flag is Robinson was only on the field for 67% of offensive snaps.
Along with this, Robinson draws a juicy matchup with a porous Washington Commanders secondary. Washington was just cooked by Baker Mayfield and was one of the worst secondaries in football last year (and seems to be going for a repeat performance).
Brandin Cooks Fantasy Outlook (33.7%)
While Sunday’s headlines (and all of the offseason headlines) for the Cowboys were dominated by CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott handcuffing themselves to America’s Team for the next four years, Brandin Cooks was flying under the radar as the WR2 on this offense.
Cooks finished Week 1 with 44 receiving yards and a touchdown while amassing 1.33 yards per route run and a 21.8% target share. The Cowboys do draw a tough matchup for pass catchers with the Saints in Week 2, but with Jake Ferguson injured, Brandon Cooks fantasy owners should enjoy an increased target share to justify him being a fantasy football streamer option worth considering.
Demarcus Robinson Fantasy Outlook (21.2%)
Demarcus Robinson finished Week 1 with four catches on seven targets to go along with 42 yards. With Puka Nacua exiting the game with a sprained PCL, it’s likely that Robinson will now slot into the No. 2 WR role in Puka’s absence.
While Robinson didn’t do much with his opportunities in Week 1, he’ll benefit from a matchup with the Arizona Cardinals that has a total in the 50s. If you need some help at the WR position this week and missed out on some other fantasy football waiver wire options, Robinson provides a nice floor.
