We are roughly a quarter through the fantasy football season. Week 5 is our last week for a while with a full slate of games and no bye weeks to navigate, so enjoy having your entire roster to decide amongst this week. As a reminder, this article is not here for the obvious plays, so if you have Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill or Stefon Diggs you know what to do. This article will look at WRs on the fringe of WR2/Flex status to help you make the tough choices.
Welcome back to our weekly fantasy football start or sit article and our ever-popular player-based fantasy team names, just in case a change may be in store for your squad.

Fantasy Football Start or Sit: Week 5 WRs
Start: Marquise Brown vs. Colts
Team Name: What Can Brown Do For You?
Over his last 12 games, including the playoffs, Marquise Brown has been in double-digits for PPR fantasy points 11 times and has averaged 16.3 fppg. This season, he is the WR13 through the first four weeks and has scored a touchdown and had at least 69 receiving yards in all but one game. In the one game he didn’t against the Lions, he had three catches for 53 yards. That is his low mark for his last 12 games. I don’t want to jinx him here, but Brown has become a solid week in, week out WR2. You can start him with confidence this week against the Colts.
Start: Ja’Marr Chase vs. Packers
Team Name: Mac & Chase
What, no 30-yard touchdown last game? After starting off the year en fuego, Ja’Marr Chase, who is the WR12 in PPR at this point, has a tough matchup this week against the Packers, who are giving up only 31.2 fppg to opposing WRs, which is ninth in the league. However, without Jaire Alexander, this matchup is not going to be as tough as it looks on paper. Look for Chase, who has put up at least 13.4 fantasy points in each game and is averaging 17.6 fppg, to catch another couple of deep shots from Joe Burrow with a strong chance of starting up another touchdown streak. Chase is a locked-in WR2 again this week.

Sit: Allen Robinson at Raiders
Team Name: Baskin Robinson
The WR60 through four weeks, Allen Robinson is averaging only 8.5 fppg and, after having 11 targets thrown his way in Week 1, has only seen four, six and three the last three weeks. In two of the last three weeks, he has been out-targeted by Darnell Mooney, who last week with his five catches for 125 yards eclipsed Allen Robinson’s previous three weeks combined. The Raiders are allowing only 32.5 fppg to opposing WRs. The Bears will try to come out with a conservative game plan once again this week, with Justin Fields having been announced as the starter. Leave Robinson on your bench until he starts getting targeted again.
Sit: Odell Beckham Jr. at Chargers
Team Name: Bend it Like Beckham
Despite seeing nine and seven targets, and a carry, in each game, Odell Beckham Jr. has only put up 13.7 and 5.1 PPR points the last two weeks. He and Baker Mayfield have had trouble connecting this season, as has been a problem in the past. Last week, they had an opportunity for a touchdown, but Mayfield missed Beckham on the pass. Now, with a matchup against the Chargers, who are only allowing 26 fppg to opposing WRs and playing in the second-most run-heavy offense, he is best left on benches this week.
