Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 4 WRs

Start: Amari Cooper Fantasy Outlook vs. Falcons

Amari Cooper has put together back-to-back 101-yard, one-touchdown games. He had nine catches on 10 targets in Week 2, then seven on 11 targets in Week 3. Cooper and Jacoby Brissett have a nice rapport going, as Cooper has nearly twice as many targets as Donovan Peoples-Jones, at 27 to 15, and over half of the Browns’ WR targets. This week, they get to take it on the road against the Atlanta Falcons, who are allowing 39.1 fantasy points per game (fppg) to opposing WRs. Get Cooper in your lineup this week, as he stays hot at least one more week.

Start: Diontae Johnson Fantasy Outlook vs. Jets

Coming into fantasy football Week 4, Diontae Johnson is tied for seventh-most targets, with 33 through the first three games of the season. He has double-digit targets in each game and has no less than six receptions and 55 yards, having scored 12.5, 13.7, and 16.4 fantasy points across the three games. He provides a safe weekly floor, even though the Pittsburgh Steelers offense has struggled out of the gate.

This week, he gets a matchup with a New York Jets defense that is giving up 32.3 (fppg) to opposing WRs. This fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em article suggests you lock him in your lineup as a WR2 with potential for more.

Sit: D.J. Moore Fantasy Outlook vs. Cardinals

Another week, another quiet performance from D.J. Moore, who has seen six targets in each of the first three weeks, but has little to show for them  In both Weeks 1 and 2, he had three receptions for 43 yards, adding a carry for seven yards in Week 1 and a touchdown in Week 2. Last week, he caught one ball for two yards and had two carries for 13 yards.

The Arizona Cardinals are smack dab in the middle, giving up 27.6 (fppg) to opposing WRs, but you can’t start Moore as anything more than an emergency flex play this week or any week until he and Baker Mayfield can get on the same page. We suggest you take a wait-and-see approach with Moore.

Sit: Allen Robinson Fantasy Outlook vs. 49ers

Much like Matthew Stafford in the QB Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article, Allen Robinson’s season has gotten off to a rollercoaster ride of a start. After a forgettable 12-yard single catch debut in Week 1, Robinson had four receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown in Week 2 (WR23 finish).

Last week, he only managed two catches for 23 yards. With a tough matchup on deck against the San Francisco 49ers, he belongs on your bench again. The 49ers have given up an average of only 21.8 (fppg) to opposing WRs and with Cooper Kupp getting his this week that leaves very little to be had for Robinson.
