Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 3 WRs
Start: DeVonta Smith Fantasy Outlook vs New Orleans Saints
Devonta Smith may need to replace AJ Brown for the second straight week, if the Eagles decide to hold out Brown. AJ Brown was inactive Monday night against the Atlanta Falcons and Smith was able to take over well, as he was able to get over 20 points. Smith may get some help on the other side of the field too.
The Philadelphia Eagles will play the New Orleans Saints this week. The Saints’ defense has given up the 10th-most fantasy points to WRs so far this season. That is even after playing the Panthers in Week 1. The Saints also have scored on all of their possessions so far this season so the Eagles may have to throw the ball more to go shot for shot with the Saints. Start Smith this week.
Start: DJ Moore Fantasy Outlook vs the Indianapolis Colts
The Chicago Bears offense has been bad through the first two weeks. Well, really it’s just been Caleb Williams and the offensive line. Despite this, DJ Moore has still been putting up a decent amount of points. In two weeks, Moore has 21.3 points and the more Williams plays he should get better in the NFL (in theory).
On the other side of the ball is the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts have given up the seventh-most fantasy points to WRs so far this season (4th most to WRs on the outside). Moore as WR1 will be on the outside going against Dallis Flowers and Jaylon Jones. Put Moore in your lineups for Sunday.

Sit: DK Metcalf Fantasy Outlook vs Miami Dolphins
Dekaylin Metcalf is not a start this week in fantasy, coming off a huge week (28.9 points against the New England Patriots). This week should be a little bit tougher for him as he tries to get open against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins have covered up the Jaguars and Bills WRs this season. The Dolphins have given up the sixth-fewest points to WRs so far this season. Jalen Ramsey and Kendall Fuller should keep Metcalf at bay this Sunday. DK Metcalf is our first “sit” of our Week 3 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.
Sit: Michael Pittman Jr. Fantasy Outlook vs Chicago Bears
The Indianapolis Colts WR1 should be left on your bench this week. Michael Pittman Jr. has been disappointing so far this season, only scoring 12.2 points in the first two weeks. Teammate Alec Pierce has outscored Pittman in both of the Colts games so far this season.
With the Colts hosting the Chicago Bears, things will not get better. The Bears have allowed the 12th-most points to WRs so far this season, but Nico Collins is the only receiver to get more than 10 points against them.
Anthony Richardson looked shaky last week against Green Bay and that will affect Pittman. Leave Pittman on the bench this week.
