Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 11 WRs

Start: Rondale Moore Fantasy Outlook vs. 49ers

Over the last three weeks, Rondale Moore has been the WR10, with weekly totals of 23.4, 14.9 and 18.4, and he has finished in double-digits in five of the last six weeks. No matter who is at QB this week, be it Kyler Murray or Colt McCoy, Moore is looking like a surefire WR2. With four teams on bye, including Christian Kirk, Tyreek Hill, Jalen Waddle, Tyler Lockett, D.K. Metcalf, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, follow the volume. Over the last three weeks, Moore has had 8, 10 and 13 targets. Moore is an easy start in our Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.

Start: Darnell Mooney Fantasy Outlook vs. Falcons

With the ascent of Justin Fields up the fantasy QB rankings, Darnell Mooney has now put up double-digit fantasy points in three straight weeks, as well as five of the last seven. Since Week 4, Mooney is the WR25 and, while he has yet to spike the potential he showed last season, this might be the week for it. This week, he squares off against the Atlanta Falcons who are dead last in fantasy points allowed vs. opposing WRs, with 36.2 fantasy points per game (fppg).

With all of the WR options on bye and the terrific matchup, Mooney makes for a solid start.

Sit: Adam Thielen Fantasy Outlook vs. Cowboys

With the addition of tight end T.J. Hockenson to the Minnesota Vikings, Adam Thielen has fallen to third in the pecking order for targets behind both Justin Jefferson and Hockenson. With seven targets in each of his last three games, Thielen has finished WR30, WR30 and WR44. Prior to getting torched by Christian Watkins last week, the Dallas Cowboys had been one of the better defenses against opposing WRs. If you are starting Thielen, you are hoping that he scores a touchdown to return WR2 value with all of the WRs on bye. Leave him on the bench, unless you are desperate.

Sit: George Pickens Fantasy Outlook vs. Bengals

George Pickens has incredible upside on a weekly basis. He also has tremendous downside, as illustrated by his last three weeks of six catches for 61 yards and a touchdown, good for 18.1 fantasy points, followed by a 0-0 performance, then last week’s three catches for 32 yards, two rushes for 23 and a touchdown for 14.5 fantasy points. This week, he draws a matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, who are only allowing 24.2 fppg to opposing WRs. He is not likely to have one of his better games, especially with the inconsistent QB play that Kenny Pickett is giving the offense. While his future is bright, this weekend’s outlook is not.
