Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 11 RBs

Start: D’Onta Foreman Fantasy Outlook vs. Ravens

In two of the last three weeks, D’Onta Foreman has 26 and 31 carries. Unfortunately, he also has a seven-carry, two-reception letdown in the middle. In three of the last four weeks since Christian McCaffrey was traded, Foreman has put up 16.5, 31.8, 4.1 and 19.0 fantasy points. While the floor was low, that game was a one-sided affair with the Cincinnati Bengals who would go on to win, 42-21.

Four teams are on bye this week, including six RBs who finished RB26 or above last week, including Jeff Wilson Jr., Raheem Mostert, Kenneth Walker, Leonard Fournette, Rachaad White and Travis Etienne. Go with the volume and get Foreman in your lineup as an RB2.

Start: Antonio Gibson and Brian Robinson Fantasy Outlook vs. Texans

The Houston Texans are the worst team in the league against opposing RBs, allowing 30.2 fantasy points per game (fppg), which is 2.6 worse than the next closest team (Cleveland Browns). In this matchup, there is plenty of meat on the bone for both Antonio Gibson and Brian Robinson to feast. Gibson has averaged 14.7 fppg over the last four weeks, which makes him the RB15 over that time period. Robinson meanwhile is coming off a 26-carry game where he had 86 yards and a touchdown for his best game as a pro. With the aforementioned RBs on bye, look to the Commanders’ backfield for an RB2 or flex.

Sit: Kareem Hunt Fantasy Outlook vs. Bills

Kareem Hunt has finished as an RB2 or better exactly twice this season, way back in Week 1 when he was the RB4 and again in Week 5 when he was the RB20. There is no reason to think that changes this week when the Cleveland Browns travel to play the Buffalo Bills, who are middle of the road against opposing RBs. Once Deshaun Watson makes his return in two weeks, Hunt may regain his status as one of the best backup RBs in the league, but even with all of the RBs on a bye this week, he is not worth starting.

Sit: James Robinson Fantasy Outlook vs. Patriots

Two weeks ago, in his second game with the New York Jets, James Robinson had 13 carries and two receptions, which was actually one more touch than incumbent Michael Carter had. He was able to turn that into 13.3 fantasy points and an RB16 finish. Carter also had a productive game and was able to put up 15.6 fantasy points, good for RB10. This week, in a tough matchup against the New England Patriots. who are only allowing 15.4 fppg to opposing RBs, it is hard to play either back, although Carter gets the slight nod here with his usage in the passing game.
