Dillon Gabriel Scouting Report
Strengths
The biggest strength for Dillon Gabriel is that he was able to produce big numbers in college, and he has done it consistently in his career. He plays with a confidence and high level of comfort. Gabriel is comfortable in the pocket, does not panic, and he delivers the ball where he should. On top of that, he has the mobility that NFL teams want to see out of the present-day quarterback.
Weaknesses
Gabriel is undersized for the position, and he has the tendency to lock into receivers instead of scanning the field. This combination of weaknesses will become much worse at the next level. Much of his production has come near the line of scrimmage as well, and his arm is average, at best.

Dillon Gabriel Draft Projection | Expert 2025 NFL Mock Draft Projections
This Dillon Gabriel draft projection is taken from a late-March mock draft on ESPN. In this mock, Matt Miller has him getting selected in the fifth round, 172nd overall, by the Seattle Seahawks. While the Seahawks did sign Sam Darnold this offseason, the contract is constructed so they can get out quickly. If Gabriel comes in and impresses, we have seen the Seahawks pivot to a talented rookie over the newly-signed player in the past.
