Christian Harris Draft Profile
Strengths
Christian Harris brings a wealth of experience to the table after starting three full years in one of college football’s best defensive systems. He was asked to do a lot at Alabama, and Harris proved he has a diverse set of skills, which NFL coaching staffs can mold into their ideal piece. He explodes through contact and has a knack for making positive things happen in the backfield.
Weaknesses
Harris is comfortable in coverage and has done it more than most other linebackers in the 2022 NFL Draft. However, major development is going to be needed in order to be effective at the next level, as he allowed a less than impressive 111.0 passer rating to opposing QBs in his college. His awareness of what’s happening on the field outside of the ball carrier can be an issue, and he has not gotten significantly better since his first year as a starter.
