Chad Muma Draft Profile
Strengths
Chad Muma is a well-rounded linebacker who is always willing to make the hit. As a senior at Wyoming, he had over a dozen more solo tackles than total tackles his junior year. He also developed a brand new element of his game, showing a strong ability to know where the ball is going to be and create turnovers through the air and on the ground. Muma is an experienced player who also contributes on special teams. He should transition well to the next level.
Weaknesses
While Chad Muma is going to get you nearly every tackle you need in a game, most of them are not going to be behind the line of scrimmage. He can read and react to a play at a high level, but he’s not disrupting things behind the line of scrimmage as often as some would like. He will need to prove he can be just as effective against the highest level of football talent as he was playing FBS competition.
